Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to posting today but I am still recovering from some puppy-related injuries I sustained in a vicious attack on Saturday. If you're under 18 you probably shouldn't look at these, but consider yourself warned. Proceed at your own risk.
Thankfully I think I'll recover, but it was scary there for a bit.
Empty Net Goals by One-legged Defenseman
- Nice to see Paul Holmgren is reading up on this blog and signed Pat Maroon to an entry-level contract the day of my post regarding the St. Louis scoring machine.
- Also good to see Gags is going to be back tomorrow. One thing we do not need is him out long term. More on this tomorrow, but Monday night should be the best Flyers lineup to put on the Orange and Black (and white) this season.
- I'm surprised the Isles have even hung around this long. A game at hand and 2 points behind us? Never would've guessed that.
- A friend of mine, not like my friend Alex Trebeek who's mustachioed/ non-mustachioed picture adorns almost every square inch of my shrine, er...bedroom, had his first NHL fight last night. He traditionally has not been much of a fighter, or even that rough, but Kurtis Foster had a quick tilt with Eric Nystrom. Looks like he should've killed him, but nice to see him go nonetheless.
