Who do you pray to for things like this. Surely God is double booked with the World Series and a full NFL schedule to get ready for. How do I get one of these guys healthy?

I'm not going to get all extreme, but if these guys can't play they're about as useful to me as condoms.

Oh….I see what happened. I write a little night fishing story and they decide to stick it to me by not playing? Simon, Danny, surely you can see that this isn't fair to the other 585k Flyers fans out there. Let's let bygones be bygones and you guys play every game for the rest of the year and I'll retract my night fishing story.

It cannot get worse than this. Because right now we're not a Stanley Cup team. Without one of them we have no chance at the Atlantic. Even if Mike Richards and Jeff Carter move to Mexico and open a tiki bar it wouldn't be worse. Because I either go along thinking that we're going to win the Cup this year or I go along thinking we're not. No degrees or levels of "we're not." Just we're not.

I am moving my tv into the bathroom tomorrow because when I see David Laliberte out there I am going shit. You'll be able to tell who Fran is at the game because he'll either be the guy sitting on an open cooler or the guy acting like maybe he just shat his seat.

Ryan, I have this feeling that I think you owe an apology to David Laliberte??? I may be speaking early, but last I looked he had a goal and an assist in about 2:00 min of ice time...

I read on a blog somewhere or a news report somewhere that Gagne might only be out for a month even with surgery, although that doesn't make a difference because he still won't be 100% until at least December (Flyers terms/3 years) but at least there is some hope, I think.
