An example of what your missing if you're lucky enough to live in the Philly area.

Also, we are watching the game on mute because the Buffalo announcer's voice is so bad it's disgusting. If you don't believe Youtube any Sabres goal from the last 5 years.

Huzzah Car Bomb!

He was the middle child of three brothers. All three played hockey as children; older brother Geoff would later go on to be a scout for the New Jersey Devils, while Mike, the youngest, enjoyed a brief NHL career with several teams.

this does not mention anything about John Stevens, I found this on wiki. this makes me hate the sabres even more! check out the site below for more info:

I've heard some bad ones...

Ugh, this was so awful. I live in State College, which gets CSN Philly but has all Flyers games blacked out (but I get all Penguins games on FSN Pittsburgh, yay! Or vomit). I've been watching all the games online and these announcers were right up there with the worst of them. I noticed that shit about John Stevens supposedly being Scott Stevens' brother - where the hell did that come from? Who just says random shit that isn't even true? Are they Fox News? There was no point to it. I told my dad, who gets the Philly broadcast, about it and he said, "That's why they're in Buffalo." Zing.

Also, I may have developed a small tumor in my brain from hearing "and he SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORES!" every time Buffalo got a goal. I doubt I'm the only one. Go Flyers.

The announcer also said the John Stevens is the younger brother of Scott Stevens. Never knew that one. How'd the Flyers keep that quiet?
