Ryan Potulny to Flyers: Eat Shit

Well not exactly. But Ryan Potulny did score a big goal last night in the Edmonton Oilers comeback win over the Colorado Avalanche. Let me light the candles and set the mood for you. The Oilers are down 4-2 getting ready to go into the 3rd period with a more or less insurmountable deficit to overcome. Bam! Sam Gagner scores with 16 seconds left in the period. There's a little life in these guys yet. And then with a powerplay winding down in the opening minutes of the 3rd Ryan Potulny finds himself in the right place at the right time:

Look at how happy him and his little mustache get!

The Oilers would go on to get the game winner about 9 minutes later. But they couldn't have done it without ex-Flyer Ryan Potulny and his super rebound banging home skills. Or maybe they could have, but we'll never know. And I don't want to live in a world where people know the answer to that question.

Haha, yeah the mustache's just a thing that all of the Oilers are growing for a charity event-Movember. smilies/grin.gif

Pat Quinn's actually used Potulny a fair amount on the 2nd powerplay unit since he got called up from the AHL.
