Someone please fetch me Stephen Hawking, I'd like to know if there is a correlation between those numbers up there.

It's up to Jon Stevens to have his team play 60 minutes like they did in the third period and it's up to Jeff Carter and Mike Richards to not be the worst players on the ice when their team needs them to be the best.

Jeff Carter's play last night was the worst I've seen a Flyer play over the past 3 years. His giveaways were nothing compared to him not even going to the puck in certain instances on defense. Oh you don't know how to play wing Jeff? Here's a fucking lesson: stay between your man and the net, poke check the puck away from people if you can reach them, and win the puck off the boards.

The worst part is you know he's the kind of player that is happy because he got two goals. He probably kept quiet in the locker room like the rest of the team but then texted his dad "team lost but I got 2G" after the game when he got on the bus.

This play below only could have been made better if Bill Clement was saying that sometimes it just takes a player like Jeff Carter to find the net and then his entire game starts clicking. Oh, wait…

 

As far as I'm concerned the only three worthwhile things that happened all game were that Danny Briere hit on Scott Hannan right as he scored, the play of the 4th line, and the fact that Danny Briere and Claude Giroux are now tied for 4th in fighting majors on a team everyone thought would be the toughest in the league.

 

I hope Ed Snider is at the point in his life where he already just wears a diaper. Because the amount of angry shits this team has caused him to drop mid game on this road trip is probably reaching the teens.

Ever since Richards got the C he's been more worried about talking to the refs and patting opponents on the ass after the whistle.

I swear I saw him apologize to a goalie he ran into a couple games ago.
