In line waiting to enter an order for a tuna Shorti at Wawa, Darroll Powe notices Claude Giroux picking up a Classic meatball sub just in time to turn away, but not in time to not be noticed by Giroux.

28: Darroll? Darroll Powe? Hey man! How's it going?

36: Oh Claude! What's going on man? How's it been?

28: Good Darroll. Things have been good. And you?

36: Great, actually. Just waiting in line to get a Classic Italian with double meat and triple hot peppers before I go shopping for a Jet Ski. So, that's going well…

28: That sounds great, Darroll. I'm really glad to hear that. I feel like I haven't seen you in…well ages. When was that game?

36: Thursday, Claude. It was Thursday.

28: Oh yeah, it was. Listen, I know I said I'd call you but some things came up and my pet hamster Sniper escaped... I just kind of lost track of time.

36. Right. I'm sure you were busy. No big deal. It wasn't a big deal.

28: Oh come on Darroll. Don't be this way. You know I care. It's just, we haven't had a game scheduled for almost a week. We still don't! You know we'll have one coming up though. And we'll be right back out there playing again.

36: It's just... I saw you playing Halo with Rabbit and Ashy Larry. I was signed on. Why didn't you guys call me?

28: Ohhh…shit. I thought I saw Power Outage log on…I was hoping you didn't see that. It just kind of came up, you know? We were all online separately and then we just started playing. And then it was kind of too late to invite anyone. Like the same reason you don't put on the DVD when you're watching a movie you own on TBS even though you hate the commercials - it just wouldn't feel right.

36: That's fine. You know what…I have to order. I'm up next on the touch screen so I should start getting ready. I guess I'll just see you guys when they set up our next game.

28: Alright man. Listen, I'm sorry about that Halo thing. It was innocent. I'll save you a seat on the train to D.C.?

36: Don't do me any favors.

28: No, I'm serious man. I will. We can play poker on our phones. It'll be just like Slapshot.

36. Alright I guess. I do have to order. You want to stay up late and watch the Phils tonight?

28: Uh. I'm going snow mobile shopping all night so probably can't, but I'll see you on the train!

Giroux walks out, throwing a perfect paper plane $100 right into the register that is already open for another customer. Powe's emotions begin to well up. A tear lands on his finger as he presses the button to select 'Shorti.'
