Flyers Prospect Picked for Team USA | November
logo

You know what happens when you start off your season with 5 goals in 7 games?

You get to play for the US of America in the World Junior A Challenge from November 8th through 14th in Penicton, B.C.

Why is this of importance to you? Because the assistant captain of the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, and more importantly the Philadelphia Flyers 5th Round pick from the 2010 draft is that guy. That guy with 5 goals in 7 games. Michael Parks.

Parks, a native of Missouri, is one of the 6 NHL drafted players that will be heading up into the wilderness otherwise known as Canada to see if the US can't win this tournament for the third time in a row.

And that's the news.

(Thanks to Timothy Kane for use of his pic, unless he for some reason decides I can't use it, then screw you dude.)
